As a host, your responsibility is to ensure everyone feels welcome, comfortable, and included in conversations. You should guide the flow of the meal, introduce attendees, and facilitate interaction among guests. As a guest, gratitude is key; thank your host, respect the agenda, and participate actively but politely. Avoid controversial topics and be mindful of table conversation. Small gestures such as complimenting the meal and offering toasts, if appropriate, show appreciation and good manners, reinforcing your professionalism regardless of your role.
