Kinetic energy is the energy an object possesses due to its motion. Any object that is moving—whether it's a car speeding down a highway, a ball rolling across the floor, or a person running—has kinetic energy. The faster an object moves and the more mass it has, the more kinetic energy it carries.

Mathematically, kinetic energy (KEKE) is given by the formula:
